Q: What happens to the rights of my design if I don't win? Do you still own it?

Absolutely not. You retain 100% ownership of your design if you are not chosen as the final winner. By entering, you are only giving us temporary permission to share your design on our social media to promote the competition. Once the winner is announced, that permission expires, and your design is all yours to use however you wish. Only the single, chosen winner will transfer the exclusive rights to their design to us as part of the grand prize agreement. We believe artists should own their work, and this competition is designed to respect that.

Not at all. This competition is about the quality and originality of your idea, not your technical software skills.

The downloadable Design Kit includes a printable PDF file specifically for this reason. You can simply print it out and create your design the old-fashioned way with pens, markers, paint, or whatever you're comfortable with.

Once your hand-drawn design is complete, just take a clear, high-quality photo or scan of the template and submit it via email as per the instructions. A hand-drawn masterpiece is just as valid as a digital one.
